In advance of the 2024 General Elections, Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) has opened an online portal for voters to confirm their information on the provisional register as of today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
The last day of this digital display is Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Voters are invited to visit the EC’s official website or use the free shortcode *71151# to access the online exhibition. There, they can enter their 10-digit Voter ID to confirm their registration details.
Corrections can only be made during this display period, but any inconsistencies can be reported to the District Office where voters are registered.
The EC stressed that revisions will no longer be available after the exhibition time concludes, but online verification will still be possible.
The Commission’s larger efforts to guarantee a correct and clean voter roll prior to the final compilation for the elections include this project.
