The Dr. C.C. Blay Foundation, under the distinguished leadership of Dr. Clement Clinton Blay, has strengthened the Atuabo Development Club’s (ADC) Back-to-School Supply Drive 2026 with a cash donation aimed at supporting educational development within the Atuabo enclave.
The philanthropic intervention forms part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to advancing education, empowering young people and contributing meaningfully to sustainable community development.
The donation was presented on behalf of Dr. Clement Clinton Blay and the C.C. Blay Foundation by Benjamin Kingsley Bonzoh at a ceremony held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Atuabo Astroturf.
The ADC’s Back-to-School Supply Drive seeks to alleviate some of the financial constraints confronting parents and educational institutions by providing pupils with essential learning materials as they commence the new academic year.
As part of the 2026 initiative, four schools within the Atuabo enclave benefited from the intervention. They are Atuabo Methodist School, West Coast Academy, Royal Preparatory School, and Asemnda Suazo Methodist School.
The beneficiary pupils received a broad range of educational and school-related supplies, including school uniforms, exercise books, jerseys, erasers, rulers, school bags, pens, pencils and mathematical sets.
The comprehensive nature of the items supplied emphasises the initiative’s objective of addressing some of the basic requirements pupils need for effective participation in academic activities.
The intervention is particularly significant in strengthening grassroots educational support, as access to basic learning materials remains an important factor in creating an enabling environment for pupils to learn and thrive.
