Andy Anderson (FIFA), one of Nzema’s leading football referee has passed away following a short illness . Despite receiving swift treatment in his hometown Tikobo 1 in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region, he was pronounced dead in the early hours of Wednesday.
A family member disclosed the appalling news to the public.
Anderson was widely regarded as an esteemed figure in world of football refereeing, having presided in countless games in the Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) leagues.
He was regarded as one of Nzema’s most experienced umpire before his distressing dead.
Andy Anderson was nominated as one of the best referees in the 2019 Nzema Sports Awards.
