Justin Frimpong Kodua, the national secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), said his party is prepared for an indisputable win in the general elections scheduled for December 7.
At the NPP’s last rally, which took place on Thursday, December 5 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Mr. Kodua spoke with assurance and underlined that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) could not stop the party’s progress.
Ahead of the elections, the NPP’s national campaign reached its peak with the event, which drew thousands of fervent supporters. During his passionate speech, Mr. Kodua reassured supporters that the NPP had done everything it could to stay in power.
He cited the party’s strong programs, long history of preparedness, and capable leadership as the cornerstones of their expected triumph.
“We are winning the elections and nothing can stop it. Bawumia is the incoming president, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) cannot stop it.”
Mr. Kodua also criticized the NDC, accusing the opposition party of resorting to divisive tactics in a desperate attempt to gain political advantage.
“Sensing their impending defeat, they have now resorted to tribal politics and religious denigration to create division,” he stated.
