Former Ellembelle District Chief Executive (DCE) and 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Kwasi Bonzoh (34-Kaywa), has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Western Regional Secretary of the party.
His decision comes at a time the NPP is preparing to reorganise its structures following the 2024 general elections, with a renewed focus on strengthening grassroots mobilisation and deepening internal cohesion.

In a statement announcing his bid, Hon. Bonzoh expressed confidence in his experience and readiness to serve the party in the crucial administrative role.

With over 30 years of dedicated public service, proven leadership, and a deep commitment to grassroots development, I am ready to bring experience, unity, and results-driven leadership to our great party.
My journey has always been about serving the people, empowering the youth, and building stronger communities. Today, I step forward once again to offer tested leadership, strategic direction, and renewed energy for the progress of the Western Region.

Hon. Bonzoh noted that his longstanding involvement in party activities, coupled with over three decades of public service, places him in a strong position to contribute meaningfully to the growth and reorganisation of the NPP in the Western Region.
He further emphasised the need for unity, effective communication, and a well-structured grassroots base to enhance the party’s performance in future elections.
The position of Regional Secretary remains a pivotal role within the party, responsible for coordinating activities, maintaining records, and supporting the implementation of party decisions at the regional level.
His declaration is expected to intensify competition as the NPP prepares for its internal elections in the Western Region.
