Basake Holy Stars will officially open their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign at home when they host Swedru All Blacks at the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III (AAK III) Sports Arena in Ampain on Sunday, September 6, 2026.
The Nzema-based outfit will be hoping to capitalise on home advantage and begin the new campaign on a winning note after finishing 12th in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with 46 points.
Swedru All Blacks, meanwhile, will also be eager to make a strong start to the new campaign and will arrive in Ampain determined to secure a positive result against their fellow Western Region opponents.
The two clubs have met twice in the Ghana Premier League, with both sides recording victories on home soil.
Swedru All Blacks secured a 2-0 triumph at the Swedru Stadium in Matchweek 6, courtesy of goals from Benjamin Adjei and Hafiz Alhassan.
Basake Holy Stars responded in the reverse fixture at the AAK III Sports Arena in Matchweek 23, edging the visitors 1-0 through a Jacob Boazee penalty.
