Hon. Armah-Kofi Buah, three other ministers-designate to be vetted today

The Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, and three regional ministers-designate will be vetted by the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Monday, January 27, 2025.

The vetting session will start at 9:00 AM in Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the Parliamentary Administration Building.

The evaluation of candidates nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to head crucial ministries and areas as members of his administration’s leadership team is a crucial phase in this process.

The nominees scheduled for vetting include:

  • Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah – Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources
  • Tia Ibrahim – Minister-Designate for the North East Region
  • Dr. Frank Amoakohene – Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region
  • Akamugri Atanga Donatus – Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region

The Appointments Committee will be able to examine the candidates’ backgrounds, experiences, and goals during the screening process to make sure they are qualified for their positions.
