Five students at Mpraeso Senior High School (SHS) have been placed under police detention on a 10-day remand after reportedly raping a female student.
His Worship Isaac Agyei presided at the Nkawkaw District court on Friday, when the suspects were arranged.
This came after the judge released them on Thursday, but the police later arrested them again.
On Monday, October 28, 2024, they are anticipated to make another appearance.
In a related development, the headmaster, James Affadu, has been called by the court to explain why the school administration failed to notify the police or appear in court.
A bench warrant has also been issued by the court to arrest the three other pupils who are now unaccounted for.
