Nations FC have secured a historic berth in the MTN FA Cup final following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Aduana FC in their semi-final clash at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
The contest between the two Ghana Premier League (GPL) sides was fiercely competitive, but it was Nations FC who made the brighter start. Emmanuel Annor proved decisive early on, finding the back of the net in the 7th minute after a well-worked attacking move to hand the Abrankese-based side a crucial lead.

That early breakthrough ultimately settled the encounter.
Aduana FC pushed for a response and showed greater intent after the interval, but clear-cut opportunities remained scarce. Nations FC, disciplined and compact at the back, absorbed the pressure effectively and managed the game with composure to preserve their advantage.
Despite Aduana’s late efforts to salvage the tie, Nations FC stood resolute to seal a memorable triumph.
The victory propels Nations FC into their maiden FA Cup final, underlining the club’s rapid rise in Ghanaian football. They are now one step away from claiming their first major silverware in what has already been an impressive campaign.
Nations FC will face either Dreams FC or Medeama SC in the final, with the two sides set to battle in the second semi-final at the same venue.
In addition to the coveted trophy, the eventual winner will earn qualification to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup, adding further significance to the upcoming final.
