Black Stars winger Joseph Paintsil has stressed that his commitment to the national team is driven by a desire to serve Ghana as a whole, not any particular individual.
The forward, who has been a key figure in Ghana’s attack in recent outings, highlighted the importance of unity and national pride when representing the country.
“I’m playing for the people of Ghana and not an individual person,” Paintsil said.
The former Tema Youth star also expressed his ambition to feature at the FIFA World Cup, describing it as a major milestone in his career.
“It will be amazing for me to play in the World Cup,” he added.
Paintsil’s remarks come at a time when the Black Stars are working to strengthen team cohesion ahead of crucial international assignments, including upcoming qualification fixtures.
Known for his pace and attacking threat, the winger is expected to play an important role as Ghana pushes to secure a place at the next World Cup.
