Aduana CEO Atta Poku targets MTN FA Cup glory in honour of late Dominic Frimpong

Aduana FC Chief Executive Officer Collins Atta Poku has revealed the club’s determination to win the MTN FA Cup in honour of the late Dominic Frimpong.

Speaking to Shaban Mohammed’s MoTV, the Aduana boss disclosed that Frimpong, prior to his passing, had sent him a humorous but telling voice note urging drastic measures should the club fail to secure the trophy.

“Before his passing, he jokingly sent me a voice note saying that if Aduana FC don’t win the FA Cup, I should sack all the players,” Atta Poku said.

The Aduana CEO stressed that the club is now highly motivated to clinch the title as a tribute to Frimpong, whose memory continues to inspire the team.

“We have to do it for him,” he added.

Atta Poku further outlined his broader vision of transforming Aduana FC into a dominant force on the African continent, drawing inspiration from DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.

“I want to take Aduana to the level of TP Mazembe during their era of dominance in African football, and we will get there,” he noted.

Aduana FC, based in Dormaa, are among Ghana’s top clubs and will be aiming to channel their renewed motivation into success in the ongoing MTN FA Cup campaign.
