A violent dispute between members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has left nine people injured.
On Sunday, October 13, the dispute took place in the Accra suburb of Mamobi.
The police have released a press release that includes this information.
It added that “seven of the injured persons have been treated and discharged, while two others are still receiving care at the hospital.”
The public was reassured by the Police Service that peace has been restored in Mamobi while an intelligence-led operation is underway to apprehend the police-identified offenders and bring them to justice.
