Former Proud United and Sefwi All Stars gaffer, Bright Lord Ellis has mutually parted ways with Division One league Zone II side Basake Holy Stars.
Lord Ellis moved to Basake Holy Stars ahead of the 2023/24 Access Bank Division One League season following the resignation of Dominic Nketiah, he gave the club it’s best run of form in the ongoing season.
The Basake-Aiyinase based outfits have been on top of zone II standings since the commencement of the season till now with 34 points.
The 38-year old called off his unprecedented season with Basake Holy Stars after their 1:0 win over Young Red Bulls FC in matchday 18. Coach Bright Lord Ellis has by far been the best trainer for the club since their qualification to the second-tier league in the 2020/21 season.
The enterprising trainer won 11 games, drew 1 and lost 6 in 18 matches in the ongoing season.
Speaking to your most authoritative website, he revealed his goal and vision was to take Holy Stars to the promise land (Ghana Premier League) and again to make history with the club.
