President-elect Mahama pledges inclusive gov’t for all Ghanaians

Regardless of political membership, President-elect John Dramani Mahama has pledged to build a government that represents the hopes and desires of all Ghanaians.

He made this promise in his victory address at his campaign office after the Electoral Commission announced that he had won the general elections in 2024.

Mahama thanked the Ghanaian people for their faith in him while speaking to a crowd of party members and well-wishers.

“My brothers and sisters, it is with immense humility that I accept this clear mandate you, the good people of Ghana, have given me to lead this great nation as your next president,” he stated.

Mr. Mahama emphasized that each vote cast represented the hopes and future of the entire nation.

“Every vote cast in this election carried the same weight. Every vote also carried the hopes and the future of our country,” he remarked.

The president-elect reiterated his dedication to maintaining national unity and promised to form a government that will benefit all residents, even those who did not support him.

“I promise you that I will assemble and lead a government that will carry the weight of those hopes and dreams, whether you voted for me or not, because every victory is a victory for the people, all of the people,” Mahama asserted.
