Road to Recovery
The midfielder admitted he still needs time to regain full fitness but remains confident in his ability to return to top form.“I need to be honest with myself, but I still have some weeks or months to get into the best shape I can be,” he said.
He added that his immediate goal is to gain match fitness and complete full games before the tournament. “My aim is to get one or two full matches before the World Cup. I believe I can get back into shape.”
Selection Not Guaranteed
Despite his determination, Kyereh acknowledged that making the final squad will depend on the technical team. “At the end of the day, I am not the one who decides. I can only do my part and leave the rest to the decision-makers,” he stated.
Kyereh was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and hopes to earn another opportunity on football’s biggest stage.
