The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially unveiled the calendar for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season, with the new campaign scheduled to kick off in early September.
According to the FA, the upcoming season will commence between September 4 and September 7, 2026, as part of efforts to align the domestic top-flight with the global football calendar.
The season is expected to conclude between May 28 and May 31, 2027, bringing the curtain down on what is anticipated to be another competitive campaign across the country.
The announcement provides much-needed clarity for clubs and stakeholders, allowing teams to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the new season, including preseason activities and player recruitment.
