The 2026 Western Regional Middle League concluded on a high note as HS Ebiemo FC edged Fiaseman United 1-0 in the final at the Axim Sports Complex, with outstanding individual performers recognised for their exploits in the competition.
HS Ebiemo FC’s midfield talisman, Abu Konda Adams, was named Player of the Tournament after a series of commanding displays. The industrious midfielder played a pivotal role in his side’s success, combining intelligence with composure in the centre of the park. His ability to dictate play, coupled with his neat passing and tireless work rate, made him a standout figure throughout the tournament.
Fiaseman United goalkeeper Frederick Attobrah picked up the Golden Gloves award following an impressive campaign. The young shot-stopper conceded just once in five matches, his only goal allowed coming in the final, highlighting his sharp reflexes, excellent positioning, and composure between the posts.
The Bawdie-based side also saw Peter Kally emerge as the Discovery of the Tournament. The exciting winger caught the eye with his pace and technical quality, consistently troubling defenders and establishing himself as one of the competition’s brightest prospects.
HS Ebiemo FC forward Emmanuel Tetteh claimed the Top Scorer award after netting four goals in five matches. His clinical finishing, close control, and attacking instincts made him a constant threat in the final third.
