A former Parents Teachers Association Chairman of Nkroful Agricultural Senior High School (NASS), Mr. John Elvis Nyanzu, has donated 18 sets of football jerseys and 18 pairs of stockings to the school in a gesture aimed at promoting sports development and motivation among students.
The presentation, which took place at the school’s premises, was met with appreciation from both staff and students, who described the donation as timely and inspiring.
Mr. Nyanzu, known for his long-standing support toward the school’s progress, said the gesture was his contribution to nurturing young talents and encouraging a balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
“Education goes beyond the classroom. Sports instill discipline, teamwork, and resilience in our young people. This is my small way of supporting the holistic development of our students,” he remarked.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Headmaster, Mr. J.K. Blay, commended Mr. Nyanzu for his continued interest in the school’s welfare, describing him as a true partner in development.
“We deeply appreciate this thoughtful gesture. It will go a long way to motivate our students and enhance their participation in sports competitions,” the Headmaster said.
Mr. Nyanzu’s benevolence adds to the growing calls for alumni and stakeholders to support educational institutions in various ways to strengthen academic and extracurricular excellence.
