A team of experts from the Ghana Police Service has been sent to Bole and its surroundings in the Savannah Region to assist the Regional Police Command in their efforts to investigate three cases of unexplained deaths that have been recorded in the town in the past six months.
These experts, who include forensic experts, crime scene managers, intelligence officers, and homicide investigators, are in the area to collaborate with the Regional Command on the cases.
With more operational officers stationed in the town and the surrounding towns, police presence and patrols have increased.
The police are collaborating closely with traditional and religious leaders as well as community members to address this regrettable circumstance, according to Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Assistant Commissioner of Police Director, Public Affairs.
However, she gave assurances to the public, particularly the impacted communities, to maintain their composure because the police are dedicated to finding the people who committed this horrible crime.
The Bole area’s Concerned Citizens organized a demonstration to demand assistance from the various security agencies, as the situation has caused fear, worry, and stress among the local population.
