The national cathedral’s executive secretary, Dr. Paul Yaw Opoku-Mensah, is pictured in an image that has gone viral online that displays his pay.
The picture, provided by Malik Basintale, the deputy communication officer of the National Democratic Congress, showed how salaries are being paid across the nation even though there hasn’t been any work done to justify them.
He posted on social media, stating:
PaySlip of one of the leaders of the National cathedral. He is being paid Ghc29,838 every month for being the CEO (Executive secretary) of the world’s most expensive hole. His name is Dr. Paul Yaw Opoku-Mensah. A candidate for Jail. Yet, Innocent protestors are being arrested and remanded. More soon…..”
