The Western Regional Police Command has declared one Sule Anas wanted in connection with the alleged defilement and unnatural carnal knowledge of two minors at Fijai Zongo Central, near Sekondi.
According to a police statement issued on Thursday, May 21, 2026, the suspect was engaged by community leaders in the area to provide weekend Arabic lessons to children within the community.
Preliminary investigations by the police indicate that the suspect allegedly lured the victims into a storeroom within the mosque premises under the guise of performing spiritual cleansing rituals, where he reportedly subjected them to sexual abuse.
The statement further disclosed that an arrest warrant was issued against Sule Anas by the Gender Court in Sekondi on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
The suspect is described as fair in complexion and approximately 5.7 feet tall. Police intelligence suggests he may be hiding in either Côte d’Ivoire or Togo.
The Western Regional Police Command has therefore appealed to the general public to assist with credible information that could lead to his arrest.
