In Bole, in the Savannah Region, former President John Dramani Mahama cut the sod for a 500-seat state-of-the-art sports complex that will eventually serve the local populace.
The former president and NDC flagbearer, Mr. Mahama, has the full financial backing of the chiefs and elders of Bole Traditional Area for the sod cutting.
Natural Greengrass AstroTurf is anticipated for the sports facility, along with a sports locker room, rest area, and restrooms for athletes. A tennis ball court with an incorporated swimming pool and a volleyball court will also be included in the complex.
There will also be a basketball court and a parking lot. The building is anticipated to be finished by the end of this year.
HE John Dramani Mahama advised the contractor to take all necessary steps to ensure that the facility meets the highest standards of its kind during the sod-cutting event. Hon. Yusif Sulemana, the MP for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, is facilitating the initiative.
