Ghana’s newly appointed national team coach, Carlos Queiroz, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, ahead of his official unveiling.
The meeting, which was facilitated by the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, forms part of preparations for the coach’s assumption of duty.
Hon. Kofi Adams welcomed Queiroz and introduced him to the management and staff of the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
The visit comes as the Portuguese tactician prepares to officially take charge of the Black Stars.
The appointment of the experienced coach has generated excitement among fans and football stakeholders, who are keen to see a new direction for Ghana’s senior national team under his leadership.
