The Western Regional House of Chiefs has honoured the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, for his role in restoring peace and unity within the House after years of leadership disputes.
The honour was conferred at a ceremony held in Sekondi, where members of the House acknowledged his contribution to resolving internal disagreements that had affected its operations.
Speaking at the event, the President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs, Nana Kobina Nketsia V, stated that Mr. Buah’s intervention helped to settle longstanding disputes and brought stability to the House.
He noted that the minister’s efforts came at a crucial time and played a key role in reuniting the chiefs, allowing the House to refocus on its responsibilities.
Hon. Armah-Kofi Buah, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the chiefs for the recognition. He called for sustained unity among members of the House, stressing that collaboration among traditional leaders is essential for development in the region.
He further urged the chiefs to continue working together in the interest of their communities.
