The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with the robbery attack involving Berekum Chelsea Football Club, which led to the tragic death of one of the club’s players.
According to an official police update, the suspects include the alleged gang leader and an accomplice, both picked up following an intelligence-led operation.
Police further disclosed that one of the suspects sustained gunshot wounds during an exchange of fire with officers. The injured suspect has since been taken to hospital and is receiving treatment under police guard.
