Late Dominic Frimpong’s Career Path and Final Appearance Before Tragic Passing

The Ghana football community continues to mourn the heartbreaking loss of Dominic Frimpong, a young forward whose career, though brief, reflected steady growth and promise.

Frimpong featured for Tudu Mighty Jets during the 2023–24 season, where he began to draw attention with his performances. His progress earned him a move to Attram De Visser for the 2024–25 campaign, further shaping his development within the domestic game.

Ahead of the ongoing Ghana Premier League (GPL) season, the 20-year-old secured a transfer to Aduana FC, underlining his rising profile in Ghanaian football.

In January, Frimpong made a temporary switch to Berekum Chelsea on loan in search of more playing time, and he quickly integrated into Coach Samuel Boadu’s squad.

Tragically, his final appearance came in Berekum Chelsea’s away fixture against FC Samartex in Week 29 of the Ghana Premier League, where he played 82 minutes.

Over the course of the current league season, Frimpong made 14 appearances and scored two goals.

His passing marks a significant loss to Ghana football, with many remembering him as a dedicated and hardworking player whose potential was still unfolding.
