Manhyia Palace has officially announced that His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has appointed a new Board of Directors to steer Asante Kotoko Sporting Club into a promising future.
Heading the team is Mr. James Osei Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Joshob Construction, who takes up the role of Board Chairman, with Mr. Kwasi Osei Ofori, Chief Executive Officer of Rocksure, as Vice-Chairman.
The Board also includes Mr. Kofi Amoa-Abban, Founder and CEO of Rigworld Group, among other notable appointments.
The new Board is set to assume statutory oversight responsibilities immediately, while the Interim Management Committee (IMC) will continue managing club operations until the close of the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season.

During a formal introduction presided over by Mr. Kofi Badu, Chief of Staff at Manhyia, the new Board met the IMC, with both sides committing to a smooth transition.
Chairman Osei Brown expressed the Board’s determination to restore Asante Kotoko to its rightful prominence and urged the management team to maintain peak performance through the remaining weeks of the season.
Meanwhile, Nana Akwasi Awuah Apinkrah, IMC Chairman, welcomed the new Board and pledged the full support of his team during the transition period.
