Mr. Hayford Eshun, a former player of Basake Holy Stars FC, has demonstrated his unwavering support for the club by gifting brand-new football boots to a group of the team’s top performers. The gesture serves as recognition of their dedication, consistency, and impactful performances in recent matches.
The donation highlights Eshun’s appreciation of the players’ relentless effort and growing influence within the squad as the team continues its campaign in the Ghana Premier League. The latest beneficiaries were Francis Oteng Gyetuah, Sylvester Simba, Gideon Quaison, Francis Asante, Richmond Somiah Jayzee, and Kwofie Hagan, players who have consistently impressed with their commitment, resilience, and contributions on the pitch.

This act of generosity follows an earlier donation made by Eshun to another group of five players, including goalkeeper Dubi Tayi Kassi, Prince Tweneboah, Emmanuel Kwame, Moses Author, and Issa Yakubu, further highlighting his sustained dedication to nurturing talent and rewarding excellence within the squad.

Although the recognition was based on their performances in previous matches, the presentation took place at halftime of the Ghana Premier League Matchday 21 clash between Basake Holy Stars and Berekum Chelsea, adding a memorable moment to an already thrilling matchday.

At the time of the presentation, Basake Holy Stars were in full control of the contest, heading into the break with a commanding 2–0 lead, a clear reflection of the team’s confidence, cohesion, and rising momentum this season.

Among those acknowledged is right-back Francis Asante, who has been a pillar in defence, combining tactical discipline with the energy and drive to support attacking moves from the flanks.

Eshun’s thoughtful gesture not only rewards past excellence but also serves as a powerful motivator, reinforcing the values of hard work, commitment, and consistent high-level performance as Basake Holy Stars continue their pursuit of success in the league.
