Great Olympics Head Coach Sulley Adamu Resigns After Poor Results

Accra Great Olympics have been left in a difficult situation as head coach Sulley Adamu reportedly resigned this afternoon, bringing his time at the club to an early end.

The former Okwawu United trainer informed management of his decision to step down from his role with the Access Bank Division One League-zone three side after a challenging start to the season.

Adamu joined the “Oly Dade” family in July 2025, but he struggled to improve the team’s overall performance. Under his leadership, the Wonder Club recorded one win, four draws, and three defeats in eight league matches, a run that placed the club in a difficult position.

His resignation comes shortly after their 1-1 draw with True Democracy, a result that further increased concerns about the team’s poor form in the Division One League.

Adamu’s departure highlights the growing challenges facing the former Premier League side as they try to find stability and get their season back on track.

Great Olympics are expected to release an official statement soon, outlining their plans and announcing the next steps as they begin the search for a new head coach.
