Tamale-based Ghana Premier League club, Karela United has shown keen interest in Golden Kicks netminder, Kelvin Kofi Saaba.
The 18-years old was in a scintillating form for the Access Bank Division One League side, earning recognition as one of the standout goalkeepers in the country, especially his masterpiece in their 2-1 defeat to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup finals.
As per an inside source, the Pride and Passions have officially shown interest in the young goalkeeper as they seek to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Karela United currently have Mensah Danso, Abdul Karim Nasiru and Abdul Ganiu Mohammed in their books. However, Mensah Danso is expected to leave the club this summer prompting the move for Kelvin Saaba.
With his impressive form, it’s no surprise that Karela United are eager to bring him on board to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
