Government Sets May Dates for Public Sector Orientation Across Key Institutions

The Presidency has officially announced the dates for a three-day orientation programme for new recruits into various public sector institutions. The internal release, issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Ag. Spokesperson to the President, outlines the schedule for several key agencies and ministries.

According to the release, orientation programmes will be held throughout May 2025, with the following confirmed dates:
• Bank of Ghana – 2nd to 4th May, 2025
• Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) – 2nd to 4th May, 2025
• Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) – 5th to 7th May, 2025
• Ghana Gas – 5th to 7th May, 2025
• Audit Service – 12th to 14th May, 2025
• Lands Commission – 15th to 17th May, 2025
• Ghana Cocoa Board – 19th to 21st May, 2025
• SSNIT – 24th to 27th May, 2025
• Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) – 24th to 26th May, 2025

The statement also notes that all recruits are expected to officially assume duty the Monday following their respective orientation programmes.

Additionally, the list of selected applicants for the orientation will be published on Tuesday, 8th April, 2025.

This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing effort to strengthen public service delivery by adequately preparing new employees with the knowledge and ethics required for efficient and transparent operations.
