Facts are sacred, I’ve submitted all required documents – Sam George

Samuel Nartey George, the Minister-designate for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation, has denied Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin’s allegations that he did not provide the necessary documents to the Appointments Committee.

Sam George claims that on Monday, February 3, he gave the committee all the necessary documentation.

Speaking on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday, February 4, Mr. Afenyo-Markin claimed that the Ningo-Prampram legislator had not yet provided the requested documents.

The Minority Leader went on to say that his side would oppose Mr. George’s nomination as Communications Minister unless these documents were provided.

However, responding to these claims in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mr George clarified: “For the avoidance of any doubt and to settle any controversy, yesterday, I submitted to the Appointments Committee all the documents required of me, and more.

“I submitted certified copies of my certificates from LSE and KAIPTC, evidence of my travel, receipts of accommodation, proof of my fees paid, and the prospectus from @lseideas on the course I studied.”
