Ghanaian controversial media personality and socialite, Afia Schwarzenegger has sent strong caution to the Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama as he decides on whom to select as his running mate for election 2024.
She insisted that John Mahama’s ambition of wining 2024 elections will fail if he chooses Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as his running mate.
Speaking in a live TikTok session monitored by Ekuzoa Media, she stated that the NDC should be ready to be in opposition for twelve (12) years should John Mahama settle on the same person as his running mate.
Afia in the live session on TikTok did not give reasons for her claims but advised John Mahama on choosing Prof. Naana as his running mate.
” I have heard that Mahama wants to choose Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as his running mate. If he does that, he will lose the elections. You can mark it anywhere. If two of them come again in 2024, then the NPP’s ‘breaking the eight’ mantra shall come to pass.
” Let me emphazised that if John Mahama brings that woman again, he will lose the elections. Note that if the NPP stays in power for twelve (12) years, the NDC will be in opposition for twelve (12) years. So, this point in time it means breaking the eight for both parties,” Afia said.
