Who wins Nzema derby as Basake Holy Stars battle with Nzema Kotoko

Basake Holy Stars will renew their rivalry with Neighbors Nzema Kotoko at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Matchday 27 of the Access Bank Division One League, Zone II on Sunday.

The Green and Blacks have faltered in their last two games following a 1-0 loss to Elmina Sharks and Sefwi All Stars with the later ending abruptly at the Asafo Ramos Park while Nzema Kotoko inflicted a 1-0 defeat to Elmina Sharks at the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli II Sports Arena in Ampain.

Basake Holy Stars are yet to win against Nzema Kotoko in their last three matches, losing all three in the process with seven goals being scored in their last three meetings. Nzema Kotoko have scored six- Basake Holy Stars have netted only once in their last three meetings.

Basake Holy Stars Coach Abdul Malik Mohammed will welcome talisman, Richmond Somiah into the side since returning from injury.

The clubs longest serving player has missed the club last six games but looks set to partner Abdul Bashiru Hussein.

Hussein who has gone barren in about five games is expected to lead the lines on Sunday. Francis Adjei and Nana Kweku Tutu are likely to maintain their place in the starting lineup against Nzema Kotoko.

Basake Holy Stars have experience in Enis Boadi, Moses Author, Francis Asante, Eric Ackah, Kingsley Bafo, Prince Opoku, Francis Asante, Koffie Hagan and Patrick Appiah.

Coach Mensah Logosu will be leading the Red Armies with the aim of winning to battle his outfits fight against relegation.
