Ivan Kyei Innocent, a political analyst and social media pundit, has taken aim at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and called its presidential ticket the worst in our political history in a harsh and critical analysis.
According to Innocent, it is hard to ignore or support the NPP because of its unparalleled levels of dishonesty and conceit.
Dr Mathew Opku Prempah, whose name has been put forward by Bawumia as his running mate, is one of the main objects of Innocent’s criticism.
NAPO, in Ivan’s opinion, is among the most arrogant disrespectful, and disgusting individuals in modern politics. In addition, he questions how any respectable organization or individual could think Napo qualified for president.
Ivan suggests that the NPP’s current course portends its imminent demise by quoting the proverb, “He who the gods want to kill, they first make mad.”
He bemoaned the party’s loss of civility and declared that the NPP was now too corrupt to receive any more support or thought.
“My name is Ivan Kyei Innocent 1, and I’m not a cynic,” he says in closing, expressing his genuine concern for the state of politics today.
