Two persons have reportedly perished in a horrific road crash at Kamgbunli in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
The fatal incident occurred today after a Toyota Voxy and a Kia truck belonging to N-Pac Natural Water were involved in a head-on collision, triggering an inferno that engulfed the two vehicles.
The collision, which occurred on the Kamgbunli stretch of the road, also reportedly claimed the lives of two motor riders who were using the route at the time of the incident.
The ferocity of the impact left the vehicles extensively mangled, while the ensuing blaze further compounded the devastation at the scene.
The incident attracted the prompt intervention of personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service and National Ambulance Service, who arrived at the scene in a timely manner to contain the situation and provide emergency assistance.
