Tamale City FC have further reinforced their squad with the acquisition of highly rated winger Nock Obeng, sealing a calculated midseason deal as the club maintains its strong momentum.
The 17-year-old Black Starlets attacker, who has previously featured for Mighty Royals and Ebusua Dwarfs, joins the Access Bank Division One League outfits on a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the current season.

Renowned for his blistering pace, quick footwork and fearless attacking approach, Obeng is widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most exciting young wide players. His ability to operate effectively on both flanks and consistently unsettle defenders is expected to add extra cutting edge to Tamale City’s already vibrant attack.
The promising youngster also brings international experience, having undergone a developmental stint with Togolese side Semasi FC, a move that further sharpened his tactical understanding and competitive maturity at a tender age.

Nock Obeng is managed by GW Sports Consult and Trading, led by its Chief Executive Officer, George Harry Morgue-Wilson, whose outfit continues to play a significant role in nurturing and positioning emerging football talents.

Currently enjoying an impressive run, the Citizens lead the Access Bank Division One League Zone 1A table with 32 points after 14 matches, and Obeng’s arrival is viewed as a timely reinforcement as Tamale City intensify their push for sustained dominance and promotion success.
