Bibiani Gold Stars have completed the signing of striker Prince Opoku Agyemang on a long-term deal after his spell with Indian side Mohammedan Sporting Club.
The experienced forward, widely known as the “Prince of Goals,” returns to the Ghana Premier League with a reputation as one of the most reliable finishers in recent years.

Opoku Agyemang began his career with Sekondi Eleven Wise, scoring 12 goals in 16 appearances, before moving to Heart of Lions where he netted 4 goals in 23 matches.
His breakthrough came at New Edubiase United, where he scored an impressive 42 goals in 52 games, earning him a transfer to Medeama SC. At Medeama, he scored 20 goals in 40 appearances, including 11 goals in the 2019–20 season before the league was anulled. He later joined Cape Town City in South Africa on loan, played for Duhok SC in Iraq where he scored 9 goals in 15 games, and most recently featured for Mohammedan Sporting in India.

Prince first joined Gold Stars in February 2022, after the club had already secured promotion to the Premier League. In that half-season, he scored 6 goals in 15 appearances, including a debut equalizer against AshantiGold, helping the Miners secure important points in their survival campaign. His ability to make an instant impact proved his quality as a topflight striker.
Now back at Bibiani, Opoku Agyemang is expected to bring experience, goals, and leadership to the squad. With his proven record and hunger to deliver, his return is a major boost to Gold Stars’ ambition of becoming a stronger force in the Ghana Premier League.
