Former Medeama SC midfielder Azariah Fordjour has signed a two-year contract with Karela United. The deal was officially completed ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
Fordjour makes the move after spending the last few seasons with Medeama SC, where he gained valuable top-flight experience. He featured in several league matches and was a regular part of Medeama’s midfield setup.
Over two seasons with the Yellow and Mauves, Fordjour made 21 league appearances and scored 3 goals, showing consistent growth in his overall play and contribution to the team.
The former Benab Academy youngsters’ performances caught the attention of Karela United head coach Nurudeen Amadu, who acted swiftly to secure his signing. The Passioners are focused on strengthening their squad for the new campaign, and the addition of Fordjour is expected to bring energy, control, and creativity to their midfield.
The 19-year-old has also represented Ghana at the U-20 level with the Black Satellites, underlining his potential as one of the promising young midfielders in the country.
