Aduana Stars Football Club is thrilled to unveil the signing of dynamic forward, Mezack Afriyie from Berekum Chelsea on a solid three-year contract.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian centre-forward, standing at 1.72 m, brings impressive pedigree from his time in Ghana’s top-flight. During his three seasons at Berekum Chelsea, he featured in 83 Premier League matches, scoring 20 goals and providing 30 key passes, highlighting his sharpness in front of goal and vision in build-up play.
Afriyie first rose to prominence at Wa Yaasin Juniors, netting 11 goals in 23 Division One appearances before making the leap to Berekum Chelsea in 2022.
His trajectory continued upward, with a standout 2022–23 campaign (12 goals in 24 matches), followed by consistent showings in 2023–24 and last season.
The 22-year old brings versatility, equally effective as a central striker or right winger, he played 6,967 league minutes across his spells.
The acquisition of Afriyie is a judicious move to inoculate youthful dynamism and attacking depth as they gear up for a competitive assault next season.
