A five-year-old boy, identified as Hudson Kojo Amoah, has been found dead inside a manhole at Teleku Bokazo in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region, days after he mysteriously went missing.

Hudson reportedly left home on Sunday, August 23, 2026, to purchase food from a nearby shop but tragically never returned.

His unexpected disappearance immediately triggered a frantic search by his family and residents, who combed the surrounding areas in the hope of finding him alive.

A missing-person notice subsequently circulated within the community, indicating that Hudson was last seen in Teleku Bokazo on August 23. He was reportedly dressed in a white top at the time.

However, what began as an anxious search for a missing child culminated in profound grief on Wednesday, August 26, when Hudson’s lifeless body was discovered inside a manhole within the community.
