Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has asked Ghanaians to remain calm as he embarks on a journey to form a team for the future.
Ghana fought back in the second half to record a hard fought victory 4-3 over Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on Monday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
A goal from Issahaku Fatawu and Jordan Ayew’s hat-trick were enough to hand Ghana their second win in Group I while Lousmis Mafouta also grabbed a hat-trick for the visitors.
Speaking after Ghana’s thrilling win, Otto Addo believed every good course requires time and patience in building a formidable team “Rome was not built in a day. It takes time to build a team and we all need tiime. We have young players who will grow and adapt”, he said.
After the victory, Ghana moves to summit of Group I with 9 points after 4 games, having won three and lost one game.
