State Lands Will Be Protected Under My Tenure – Hon. Armah-Kofi Buah

Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Minister-designate for Lands and Natural Resources, has assured Ghanaians of his unwavering commitment to safeguarding state lands during his tenure.

Addressing concerns about the misuse and encroachment of public lands, he emphasized that his leadership would focus on accountability, transparency, and proper land management.

Speaking at a ministerial vetting today, Hon. Buah stated, “State lands are vital national assets, and under my administration, every effort will be made to protect them from illegal encroachment and ensure their proper utilization for the benefit of all Ghanaians.”

He further outlined plans to strengthen regulatory frameworks, enforce land-use policies, and collaborate with traditional authorities and local governments to prevent unauthorized activities on state lands and water bodies.

Hon. Armah-Kofi Buah also reiterated the government’s commitment to equitable land distribution and sustainable management practices, pledging to make the Lands Ministry a beacon of integrity and public trust.
