Nigerian singer and songwriter Augustine Miles Kelechi Okechukwu, known as Tekno has reacted to claims circulating on social media that he collapsed on stage while performing in South Africa.
On August 20, a video went viral showing an unconscious man, with reports alleging that the individual was Tekno and that he had slumped during a performance.
However, Tekno took to his Instagram page this yesterday to dismiss the rumors.
He clarified that he is in good health and is not currently in South Africa.
In his post, Tekno wished the said artiste well while reassuring his fans of his safety.
He wrote, “I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa.” He also expressed his concern for the individual in the video, wishing them well and thanking his supporters for their care and love.
