Midfield enforcer Samuel Tenadu has completed a switch to Berekum Chelsea ahead of the resumption of the second round of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The move follows a mutual termination of contract between Tenadu and Asante Kotoko, with both parties agreeing amicably to bring their association to an end, clearing the path for the midfielder to embark on a new chapter in his career.
Tenadu’s stint with the Porcupine Warriors was largely disrupted by recurring injury setbacks, limiting his opportunities to make a sustained impact on the pitch.
After extensive consultations, the player and the club deemed it prudent to part ways, enabling Tenadu to seek regular football and a fresh platform to reignite his career.
Prior to joining Kotoko, Tenadu established himself as a reliable midfield presence in the top flight with Legon Cities, where his consistency and work rate earned him recognition. He also honed his craft at Ebony FC during the formative stages of his career, a period that played a pivotal role in his development.
Berekum Chelsea will now hope Tenadu’s experience and midfield steel add depth and balance to their squad as they push for a strong second-round campaign.
