According to reports from several news outlets, Henry Quartey’s son, the interior minister of Ghana, went away tragically following a brief illness.

The young man, who was a student at Pennsylvania State University, apparently died in the United States, according to a report on X, formerly known as Twitter by Ghana Crimes.

The Quartey family is still awaiting confirmation of the rumours.

Henry Quartey, who would succeed Ambrose Dery as Ghana’s interior minister, was approved on February 14, 2024.
