REPORTS: Emmanuel Sarpong Mutually Terminates Contract with Berekum Chelsea

Berekum Chelsea forward Emmanuel Sarpong has mutually parted ways with the club, reliable sources close to the player have confirmed.

The 27-year-old attacker was strongly linked with a move to Accra Hearts of Oak before the start of the current Ghana Premier League season, with both parties reportedly in advanced talks. However, the deal collapsed at the final stage, forcing Sarpong to remain with Chelsea as the campaign got underway.

Following further discussions, both the player and the club agreed to a mutual termination of his contract, paving the way for him to seek a new challenge when the second transfer window opens later in the season.

Sarpong, has been a consistent performer for Berekum Chelsea in recent seasons, featuring prominently in both their FA Cup and league campaigns.

He is now assessing his options, with reports suggesting that several clubs have expressed keen interest in his services ahead of the next registration period.

Berekum Chelsea, meanwhile, continue preparations for their upcoming fixtures as they aim to bounce back to winning form despite the departure of one of their key attacking assets.
