President Mahama Embarks on One-Day Working Visit to Western Region

His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in the Western Region for a one-day working visit as part of his commitment to advancing infrastructure and healthcare development across the country.

The visit will see President John Dramani Mahama undertake a series of significant engagements, including the sod-cutting ceremony for the much-anticipated Sekondi-Takoradi to Cape Coast dual carriageway, a major project aimed at improving road safety, easing traffic flow, and boosting economic activities along the Western and Central corridors.

President Mahama will also inspect the ongoing expansion works at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, one of the region’s key health facilities, to assess progress and ensure timely completion to enhance healthcare delivery for residents.

Additionally, he is expected to review construction works at the new Western Regional Hospital at Apemanim in the Ahanta West Municipality. The project forms part of broader efforts to strengthen the region’s health infrastructure and improve access to quality medical services.

The President’s visit underscores his continued focus on infrastructure and social development, highlighting his vision for equitable growth and improved living standards across Ghana’s regions.
