President Akufo-Addo has appointed 26 new District Chief Executives (DCEs) to replace 24 others who were sacked on Friday, February 2.
The Municipal Chief Executive of Nzema East, Hon. Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah was spotted in the list that came out yesterday from the Presidency.
Till now it is unclear why they are being sacked.
However, in a letter hours later, the President announced the announcement of 26 new DCEs to replace those who had been sacked.
The appointment letter signed on Saturday, February 3, said, the appointment is “pending their approval by their respective assemblies.”
They include Mr. Eric Essien of Nzema East, Mr. Prince Dormaa Amoah of Ahafo and North, Mr. Oscar Asare Andoh of Amansir West and among others.
