Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Port City FC have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Gideon Waja ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 29-year-old joins the ambitious top-flight newcomers after a stint with Canadian outfit Hamilton United, returning to the Ghana Premier League with a wealth of experience.
Waja rose to prominence during his time at WAFA SC, where his composed displays and technical ability made him one of the club’s standout performers before he moved abroad.

The midfielder also featured for Toronto FC II, gaining valuable experience in North American football and further enhancing his credentials.
His arrival is expected to strengthen Port City FC’s midfield as the club continues to build a squad capable of competing in its debut Ghana Premier League campaign.
